Share Your Experience – help us learn what happens once treatment ends

You CountryHere is a message from Jane Viner, Macmillan Involvement Coordinator (Kent, Surrey and Sussex)

NHS Brighton and Hove Clinical Commissioning Group (B&H CCG) are responsible for commissioning health services for people in our city and we are working with Macmillan to learn more about cancer care after treatment.

How are we doing this?

a) Face to Face – Our Peer Researchers, who are made up of local people who have been affected by cancer themselves, will be holding conversations with people who have had cancer/ live with cancer, and received care locally in the last 5 years. Conversations will take about an hour and can be held at place local to you e.g. your local coffee shop, library, support group.

b) On Line – If you are directly affected or know someone who is affected by cancer, please fill out the survey by following this link to SurveyMonkey

c) By Post – Ask Jo to send you a paper copy of the above survey and a free post envelope Email: Jo.Rochester@nhs.net Tel: 01273 574646

What will happen with the information that I give?

All information from you will remain anonymous and your name will not be included in the report.
The information we gather will be analysed by B&H CCG to produce a report, and we will follow up with the findings at a workshop on next steps in Late January or early February 2015.
